Game 1 on the road to Detroit!

Well, we made it to the playoffs! Next stop Cincinnatti, Ohio or as we Steeler Fans like to call it, Heinz Field West. I’ve been to several stadiums around the league and Steeler Fans love to go to Cincy. I’ve been there several times and it’s great to be in a hostile environment with a few thousand of your closest friends.

This is a good matchup for us right now, we have been playing very well and the Bungles are coming off 2 losses. If this is going to end up in a shoot out, we need to put pressure on Palmer and force him to make mistakes. I think the game plan should be different this game, make them run the ball. Yep, put an enormous amount of pressure on Palmer by blitzing every down. Sure, we’ll get burned a couple times, but Palmer doesn’t perform well under pressure. A few big sacks and he’ll be begging Marvin Lewis to run the ball. Of course, we have to stop the run.

This has to be a good weekend, I am heading out to Las Vegas on the 10th and I want to go there in a good mood and win some Money! I’m actually going out for work related reasons, but I’m sure i’ll play a little Texas Hold’em.

Open Letter to ‘Colts Fan’

Dear Colts Fan,

You know who you are. On November 28th, 2005, you are the fans that shouted as we made the walk down the stairs, followed us out of the Dome, walked behind us to the parking lot, tried to pick a fight with us, screamed into the night the chant….. U-N-D-E-F-E-A-T-E-D! – U-N-D-E-F-E-A-T-E-D!

This letter is for you. How does it feel to be smacked in the mouth in your own house? How does it feel to be embarrassed at home by an 8-5 team? How does it feel to see your franchise player sacked and throwing interceptions? How does it feel to see your defense burned? How does it feel to lose? I didn’t see many smiling faces during the last 2 minutes of this game! I didn’t hear the chants of U-N-D-E-F-E-A-T-E-D after the game. What I saw was a typical Colts team, playing a mediocre team, in a very big game, Blow it! Tony Dungy showed his true colors, because he knows how to lose the big game.

Mr. and Mrs. Colts Fan, how does it feel to be back in the NFL with the rest of us? Sure, you beat us on November 28th, but….. we will be back and I will be the one ‘taunting’ at the end of the game.
