The National Anthem, Steelers take the field, Kickoff, Gary Russell’s TD, Final Play of the Game, Trophy Presentation and more…

I’m working on the Halftime Show now, it’s too long for YouTube, keep an eye out for it.

I received an email on Monday from the Disney Sports Public Relations Department, they wanted to know if I would like a copy of the video shot during Santonio Holmes’ parade around Disney. I thought it would be a good video for the fans to see and emailed them back and gladly accepted the offer.

Here is the video, it’s a short 2 minute highlight video of the parade around Disney.

Watch this post, it will be updated over the next several days with videos from our trip to the Super Bowl.

This was filmed the morning we left for Tampa and the day we arrived and went to the NFL Experience for the first time. It was a long drive (15 hours) but worth it!

This video was filmed during the NFL Experience and Ybor City in Tampa the day before the Super Bowl

Congratulations 6 Time Champion Pittsburgh Steelers!

What a game! What a day! What a way to win number 6! Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Steelers for winning Super Bowl Number 6!

We had an incredible experience at the Super Bowl, I’ll be posting photos and videos over the next few days including the full halftime show (it’s not great video but it’s viewable). I got my Flip Video camera into the game and got some great footage of the game, fans and halftime show.

It was a roller coaster type game for me. We came out and punched them in the gut and took a nice 10 point lead, I was feeling great. Then we turn the ball over and the Cardinals have a chance to tie it up or take the lead going into halftime. We were a bit worried then 2008 Defensive player of the year, James Harrison, intercepts a pass from Warner and takes it 100yds for a touch down!

That was a huge turning point in the game. We go from potentially being down 4 to up by 10 points. The 3rd quarter was ok but… I was starting to get worried as we moved into the 4th quarter. I know the Cards can score quickly and have the personnel to do it.

Then it happened, with 2:35 left in the game, Warner hits Fitzgerald for the go ahead touchdown. I was devastated and couldn’t believe what I had just witnessed.

What happened next was surreal and almost like an out of body experience. I took a deep breath, exhaled and looked at the scoreboard and when I did, I saw the score 27-23 Steelers……. this was BEFORE the Cardinals kicked off to us for the last possession.

I leaned over and told the guys, We got this! They looked at me like I was crazy but I kept saying, We got this.. we got this.. Then when we got to mid field with over 1:25 on the clock, I think they started to believe me. The next minute was unbelieveable! A huge pass down to the 6 yard line then 2 plays later, it’s in the history books. Ben to Santonio for the touchdown!

I still can’t believe we were there to witness the game and had the time of my life. This is one that will be remembered for many, many years! It was especially cool to be there with my Dad, Son and Cousin. We had a great time!

Congratulations Steelers on Super Bowl #6

Super Bowl Sunday is Here! Finally…

After another great year of NFL Football, Super Bowl Sunday is here. Even better, the Steelers are playing in the Super Bowl….. Even better yet, I’m here in Tampa with my Dad, my Son, my Cousin and some Friends!

Since starting this Blog 5 years ago, this is the 2nd Super Bowl I’ve attended with the Steelers playing. I’ve been in Tampa since Thurs. night and it’s been fun walking around the NFL Experience, Ybor City, and downtown Tampa. It’s about 70% Steeler fans here but not as bad as Detroit in 2005, there are some Arizona fans here.

We spent the day walking around the shops and festivities in Ybor City then headed back down to the Stadium and the NFL Experience. It was much more crowded and the fans are getting restless and ready for a football game.

We saw Jerome Bettis doing the NFL show on NBC, Steeler fans went crazy when they saw him on the stage, the chants of Here we go Steelers and Give it to the Bus broke out and continued until he was wisked away by security.

We finished the day sitting out by the pool at our hotel, with a nice drink and a fine cigar.. oh, did I mention it was only 40 degrees outside… What happened to the warm weather! We must have brought it down from the North because it hasn’t been about 60 degrees since we’ve been here!

Have a great day Steeler Fans and let’s bring Lombardi #6 back to Six-Burgh!!!

Go Steelers!!!!
