Pre-Season 2008 is Underway – Steelers Win

If you’ve followed this blog for the last 5 seasons, you know I don’t care for pre-season football. It’s meaningless and nothing but a way for good players to get injured and miss an entire season. Sure, the teams want to see who is going to make the final cuts and rookies are fighting for positions but I just don’t like it.

But, I digress.. The Steelers won their first pre-season game against the Eagles. That’s great except, Charlie Batch went down with a broken collarbone and this will effect the depth chart and probably force us to carry an extra QB on the roster for the start of the season.

Willie Parker is back and healthy and I’m very happy about that. I really don’t know what else to say because it’s hard to critique a game that doesn’t matter and the players don’t care..LOL

The good news is, Football is only a few weeks away and I can’t wait to get back home to the Burgh and see the Home Opener.
