On Vacation and We Met a Steeler!
The family and I are on vacation right now on the Carolina Shores, enjoying the sun and surf. We went out to dinner last night at a local restaurant in North Myrtle Beach, it’s a traditional Pittsburgh Italian Restaurant. Of course they have Steeler and Pirate memorabilia all over the walls and the food is traditional Italian.
While eating and talking to the owners we learned that a current Steeler was coming to dinner, what luck! So as we were out on the pier enjoying the weather and talking we see this man walking toward the restaurant and sure enough it was Duce Staley!
So, we chatted for a while and Duce was a perfect gentleman. We didn’t keep him too long from getting to his meal. I can tell you this…… The Super Bowl Ring was unbelieveable in person!!!!!
What a small world we live in and what do you think the odds of us being there at the same time as Duce was in town having dinner.
