Steelers pick Safety and another WR.
The Steelers used their 2nd and 3rd picks for a Safety (ANTHONY SMITH) from Syracuse and another WR (WILLIE REID) from Florida State. Both draft picks fill voids left by free agency and will add some depth to the roster. I’m hoping that the Steelers history of picking exceptional players late in the draft will work out yet again.
Today’s draft was a bit unpredictable and surprising to say the least. I can’t believe Matt Leinart dropped to 10th place and Lendale White went in the 2nd round (the 45th overall pick). I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow.
Go Steelers.
