Steelers to play Dolphins and Free Agent Update
The NFL on Monday announced its 2006 Kickoff Weekend schedule, highlighted by the Steelers-Dolphins matchup on new television partner NBC on Thursday, September 7 (on TSN).
Other news, Steelers re-signed free agent wide receiver Quincy Morgan and defensive end Shaun Nua to contracts on Monday. The Steelers also signed third-down back Verron Haynes, he agreed to a two year contract. Haynes says other teams were interested in him, but he wanted to stay with the Steelers.
