Off to Cincinnatti – A Huge Game!
Usually when we head to Cincy for a game The Steelers are leading the division and the Bengals are at the bottom. This time it’s different. This weeks game actually matters and will have a deciding factor in which team wins the division. I like our chances. In the past the Bengals were playing for pride and to shut up the Thousands of Steeler fans that make the trip to Cincy. I can’t remember the last time we went into Cincy as an underdog and in a MUST WIN situation.
The reason I like our chances in this game is because we Have to win this game. The other reason is Carson Palmer’s lack of experience and he will be forced to make something happen. Our defense will not allow them to run the ball thus putting pressure on Palmer. Sure, he’s becoming a good QB and the Wide Recievers are above average, but he doesn’t play well under pressure.
So, that my friends is the key to winning this game. Stop the run. Put points on the board early. Force Palmer to throw the ball. He will make mistakes, he will throw INT’s, he will be sacked. If the Steelers bring the Defense to this game and keep a lead, we will beat the Bengals.

I live in the Cincinnati area, although I never watch NFL games. I prefer the college game to the pro version.
But it appears that the Steelers dominated and that the Bengals fell prey to a massive case of nerves. In spite of the fact that many here in Cincy are giving up on the Bengals after this game–the result of years of past disappointments, wouldn’t you expect that these two teams will be duking it out for the top spot in their division for the rest of the season?
